Florence Nightingale Museum

exhibition catalogue

The Bone exhibition explored the many and varied roles bone has had in human life – from forming the body’s core, to being a religious relic. There was no order; instead, museum visitors were encouraged to decide for themselves how the narrative unfolds and how the objects and ideas interconnect. In this spirit, the accompanying catalogue is designed in a mix-and-match “exquisite corpse” style, and offered as a ‘field guide’ to the exhibition and beyond.
